Why Resilience?

Change is a fundamental part of the human experience. It can be scary and uncomfortable. Yet change can yield some of the richest experiences in our lives. Building resilient thoughts, behaviors, and processes allows us to sit in the discomfort of change with more ease, readily adapt to situational shifts, and courageously navigate all aspects of our lives.

Resilience Coaching works by engaging the mind and body as a whole in order to gain clarity about who we are and why we do the things we do. It builds on this self-understanding by introducing and integrating new ways of thinking, sensing, and perceiving so that we can adapt and thrive in all situations. Through practice, we expand our thoughts and shift our behaviors from unconscious patterns and reactions to conscious awareness and actions. As the practice deepens we train our brains to increase neuroplasticity, creating new behavioral grooves that can be sustained over time.

As we progress, our capacity to relate to the situations around us grows and we’re able to actively facilitate more constructive change, both in ourselves and in our environment. This results in tangible shifts in how we operate in our daily lives, which help propel us forward into the future we seek.

We’ll work to constructively build a deeper understanding of your personal ecosystem, tap into the root of maladaptive patterns and behaviors, and empower you to create beneficial shifts in how you think and behave.
